Warranty Coverage By Product Type

New / One-Trip Shipping Containers

Coverage Includes

• Structural integrity under normal intended use
• Functional doors and locking mechanisms at delivery
• Weather-resistant condition as described
• Seals functioning properly at delivery

Exclusions

• Cosmetic marks from transport or handling
• Minor scratches, dents, or paint imperfections
• Damage caused by misuse, relocation, modification, or improper placement

Where applicable, manufacturer-backed warranties may also apply.

Used Containers (Cargo Worthy / Wind & Water Tight)

Coverage Includes

• Structural integrity at delivery
• Wind and water resistance as described
• Doors operating properly at delivery

Exclusions

• Surface rust
• Dents and scratches
• Paint fading or cosmetic wear
• Wear consistent with prior commercial service life

Used containers are sold with realistic expectations regarding appearance and prior operational history.

Refurbished Containers

Coverage Includes

• Functional performance of refurbishment work completed prior to sale
• Structural performance as described at delivery

Exclusions

• Cosmetic variations between units
• Wear unrelated to refurbishment work
• Customer modifications performed after delivery

Coverage applies only to the repairs or improvements specifically performed before sale.

As-Is / Project Grade Containers

Coverage

• No warranty coverage applies unless required by law

As-Is or Project Grade containers are sold in their present condition with known or potential defects and are intended for repair, modification, or project use.

Buyers assume responsibility for evaluating suitability before purchase.

Refrigerated Containers (Reefers)

Refrigerated containers contain specialized electrical and mechanical systems.

Coverage May Include

• Structural coverage according to the container condition grade
• Manufacturer or supplier warranty coverage for refrigeration systems where applicable

Important Exclusions

Warranty does not cover failures resulting from:

• Improper electrical supply
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Incorrect installation or commissioning
• Negligence or misuse

Mechanical warranty claims may require coordination with manufacturer-authorized service providers.

Container Cabins & Modified Units

Modified units and container cabins may include additional components such as:

Trailers, Chassis & Handling Equipment
